Ex-Family Ties actor, Brian Bonsall was arrested in court Friday following the results of a drug test in which he tested positive for marijuana.
It's not the first time the former child star has smoked marijuana, and it'll certainly not be the last - RadarOnline.com has learned that Bonsall has applied for a medical marijuana license, citing severe head injuries that he suffered in his past as a valid reason for candidacy.

Bonsall, who stared as Michael J Fox's baby brother on the hit 80's sitcom, has been in trouble with the law on several occasions throughout the years, including an arrest in 2004 for drunken driving and a 2007 arrest for assaulting his girlfriend.
Last December Bonsall was arrested once again, this time on suspicion of hitting his friend in the face with a stool. At the time of his arrest Bonsall reportedly told police that he and his friend both are "bi-polar and like a lot of drugs" and that he "takes a lot of drugs and sometimes those drugs make him forget things."

He appeared in a Boulder court Friday where he pleaded not guilty to charges of third-degree assault in relation to the incident, as well as a failure-to-appear charge in connection to the 2007 assault on his then girlfriend.
After his plea, Bonsall was promptly arrested yet again, on accusations that he violated the conditions of his bond by testing positive for marijuana.
Bonsall is currently being held at the Boulder County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
