Former world champion boxer Evander Holyfield and his wife Candi are in talks to appear on the Dr. Phil Show to try and patch-up their troubled marriage, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
And the famous Atlanta boxer could also be taped going on a mercy mission with Dr. Phil to Haiti to try and help some of the earthquake survivors.
Holyfield’s spokesperson Dwayne Corbitt told RadarOnline.com: “It’s true Evander is in talks with Dr. Phil to appear with his wife on the show next week.
“We are also discussing for both Dr. Phil and Evander to go and visit Haiti also in a bid to help the people out there.
“Evander wants to donate around $40,000 worth of his nutritional products and some bottled water to the people out there and hopefully we will be able to release more details soon.”
RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed how the boxer’s third wife Candi and her husband felt ‘no anger or resentment’ to one another following their February 1, 2010, altercation at their $10 million Georgia mansion.
Candi filed a reqest for a temporary order of protection against her husband after she claimed he hit her in the face following an argument that it was too cold inside their massive mansion.
And Candi -- who subsequently withdrew her petition -- admitted to our website that she was uncertain if their marriage could be patched-up.
Dr. Phil and his producers will no doubt be hoping that any televised counseling session between Evander and Candi would prove to be a ratings winner.
