Danelle Hayes wowed the American Idol judges in Denver with her rendition of I’m The Only One by Melissa Etheridge, winning her a golden ticket into the next round, but we wont be seeing the karaoke host in Hollywood now– due to her checkered and extensive criminal past.

DOCUMENTS: Read Danelle Hayes Arrest Records

RadarOnline.com has obtained Hayes’ criminal record and it’s pretty impressive for a 24-year-old. Hayes’ record includes DUI, driving on a suspended license, possession of marijuana, fighting with her parents after they refused to give her her car keys when she was drunk, threatening to kill her mom, vandalizing her parents’ house and stealing and cashing eight checks from her mom’s checkbook.

In January 2004 officers were called to Hayes home for a “domestic dispute”. Hayes mother made the call, saying that Danelle was breaking items in the house and struggling with her father. The officer says that Danielle admitted to kicking a large hole in a bedroom door, and that she “appeared agitated” and they could “smell the strong odor of alcohol coming from her”. Danelle stated that she had had a fight with her mother because she refused to get up for school. When she finally got up at 5pm she had a couple of drinks and then when she wanted to leave the house her mother refused to give her the car keys. She then got into a physical altercation with her father, kicking him before they got into a “physical struggle”. The officer stated that Danelle had made threats to kill her mother as well as herself, as well as stolen $30 from her mother along with several of her credit cards, the credit cards were later found under Danelle’s mattress. She was arrested for Felony Harassment and Malicious Mischief, booked and transported to King County Jail. She was subsequently charged with Theft too.

In March 2004 Hayes was busted for theft after stealing eight checks from her mother’s purse and cashing them. When the officer interviewed Hayes’ mother she said Danelle was currently on probation for domestic violence and had been arrested for shoplifting as well. When questioned by police Danelle told them she “needed some money to care of debts and stuff”. Going on to confess to stealing the checks, “I stole ‘em and took them to the bank”.

The officer said that Hayes admitted to having two drinks but then went on later to say she had three vodka and cranberry. When the officer checked her name it was discovered that she had an outstanding warrant for a DUI. She was booked again for DUI and placed into the King’s County Jail.

EXCLUSIVE: Cops Search For Missing Mom Of American Idol Contestant

In December 2008 Hayes was pulled over for not stopping at an intersection. It was discovered that she was driving on a suspended license. When the officer pulled Hayes’ driving record it showed there were five instances in which she failed to appear in court for various traffic citations. The officer searched Hayes’ vehicle and discovered two bags of marijuana along with a “urine belt” which the officer believed Hayes used whenever she had to submit to a urine analysis.

In her American Idol audition Danelle flew straight through to the next round, with Kara commenting, “That was the most moving audition”. Simon though, maybe working off of some kind of sixth sense, told her, “I like you but you’re broken.”
