Jimmy Kimmel made his presence felt  in the late night free-for-all Tuesday, as the talented comic -- and apparent impressionist, as well -- did his entire show in full costume as rival Jay Leno, complete with a conservative suit, nasally voice, blow-dried grey helmet wig and exaggeratedly-huge chin.

"Hello, hello, my name is Jay Leno ... and I'm taking over all the shows in late night," Kimmel said in his monologue, in which he nailed to a tee, Jay's vocal cadence, tone and even the band’s riffs Tonight Show viewers have become accustomed to. "It's great to be here at ABC... You know what ABC stands for? Always Bump Conan."

He continued mocking Leno, saying: "Conan O'Brien today announced that he is leaving NBC. He released a statement today that said, 'I won't participate in the destruction of the Tonight Show.' Fortunately though -- I will!

"For those of you who tuned in to see Jimmy Kimmel tonight -- he's gone,” Kimmel continued. “Jimmy is not here anymore ... but don't worry, Jimmy will be fine. I hear he picked up an endorsement deal with Jenny Craig."
