Rosie O’Donnell and Kelli Carpenter, her estranged wife of nearly six years, reunited Tuesday night, with their children to attend a screening of the new 40-minute HBO documentary A Family Is A Family Is A Family: A Rosie O’Donnell Celebration.
Rosie, Kelli and their four children, three of whom were adopted by the couple and one of whom is Kelli’s biological child, were all smiles for the cameras on the red carpet.
As RadarOnline.com reported back in October, Kelli moved out of the couple’s Nyack, NY home with her biological child, leaving the three adopted children with Rosie, after a series of fights which a source says were prompted by Rosie’s mood swings.

Rosie has stated that she and Kelli are committed to their children and to raising their family together, and by the looks of it the former talk show host is putting her money where her mouth is.
The documentary, which will air on HBO on January 31st at 7pm EST, looks at the diversity of families today. It highlights same-sex parents, mixed-heritage families, single parents and stories of adoption. It includes performances by kids and their families as well as performances by the professionals, including Frank Sinatra, Ziggy Marley, Bonnie Raitt and Doris Day.
