There may be twenty four Christmas trees in the White House and a whole staff ready and waiting to do their bidding, but for President Obama's daughters Sasha and Malia, the best holiday perk thus far has been their sweet new ride.
As airports get clogged even more than usual this holiday season due to blizzards on the east coast, the Obama children have been thankful for one new perk of their new lives: Air Force One.
"Well, it will be easier to get on the plane than last year," Sasha said, inciting much laughter from the crowd. "But I don't think anything will be very different."
Flanked by their mom First Lady Michelle and the first dog Bo, the girls were at an appearance at the Children's National Medical Center in Washington D.C. where they visited with some of the young patients.
Due to the waiting press corps in the back of the room, the three ladies stayed mum about their upcoming gift to President Obama. They did offer a hint though. Michelle said: " It's good. You know, we got him sports -- I got him sports stuff."
