Fox's Glee continues to gain steam as a crossover hit, entertaining the eyes and ears of audiences nationwide.
Ten of the cast's cover songs -- most notably Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’," "Rihanna’s “Take A Bow,” and Kanye West’s “Gold Digger,” -- are dotting the landscape of the iTunes' current top 200 list. A forthcoming album compilation of songs from the series, Glee: The Music, Volume 1, hits stores Nov. 3, and is sure to be among the most popular stocking stuffers this winter.
The show details the story of Will, a passionate high school music teacher (Matthew Morrison) who tries to salvage the school's waning glee club program with a Bad News Bears-esque array of talents to choose from; in this week’s episode, Will pits the boys against girls in a mash-up showdown.
The show airs Wednesdays on Fox at 9/8c.
