Glee is making a loud noise on the TV and iTunes: Fox's new musical comedy, detailing the trials of an ambitious (and muy guapo) Spanish teacher fighting to save his high school's glee club, spawned an impressive 3.5 in its premiere.
Two episodes in, the show has five cover songs songs climbing up the iTunes Top 200: Take a Bow by Rachel Berry; Matthew Morrison's Gold Digger, Cory Monteith's Can’t Fight This Feeling and the Glee Club’s versions of Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’ and Salt-N-Pepa’s Push It.
The next two surefire hits from the breakout show? Glee's forthcoming renditions of Jazmine Sullivan’s Bust Your Windows and Duffy’s Mercy, both currently available via iTunes.
Glee airs on Fox Wednesdays at 9 p.m.
