Neve Campbell Confirmed to Star in Scream IV

Neve Campbell has signed on to reprise her role as Sidney Prescott in Scream IV mere days after co-star David Arquette was still unsure of her involvement.

The film is set to begin shooting in Spring 2010 and will reportedly be the first of a new trilogy. As RadarOnline.com reported, David Arquette and wife
Courteney Cox are also confirmed to star.
The Vampire Diaries’ Kevin Williamson is on board to write and Dimension Films is trying to get Wes Craven to return as director.

There will be another industry heavyweight ensuring the film is as successful as its predecessors (the first two "Scream" pictures grossed morethan $100 million each). "I'm going back to what I do best," mogul Bob Weinstein promised concerning revving up franchises and genre films for the studio.
