EXCLUSIVE: David Arquette Dishes on Scream 4

Yes horror fans, they’re making Scream 4. And if there’s one thing David Arquette wants you to know, it’s that he really wants Neve Campbell to reprise her role as Sidney Prescott.
“I would love for her to come back, it’d be a bummer if she doesn’t,” Arquette told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview. “But I also understand people’s decisions.”
Filmmakers have insisted that Campbell will not return as the franchise's main, and much tortured, character Sidney Prescott.
The film has special meaning for Arquette and his wife, Courteney Cox. The couple met and fell in love on the set of the first film, Scream.

Cox has signed on for the fourth sequel as well as original screenwriter Kevin Williamson.
“I haven’t seen a script yet but I know Kevin’s working on it as we speak,” Arquette told RadarOnline.com. “Hopefully we’ll start shooting in the
spring.”
