Crowds flooded to DJ AM's memorial on Thursday at The Hollywood Palladium. Celebrities including John Mayer, Sam Ronson, Lindsay Lohan and Nicky Hilton mingled with family, friends and fans alike.
The memorial, which was organized by hip Hollywood club promoter Brent Bolthouse, was opened up to the general public, with fans scrambling to get a seat within the 3,500 capacity venue. There were three entrances to the memorial: one for family and VIPs and one for friends and one for fans.
An eyewitness tells RadarOnline.com: "The crowd was very hip and eclectic, there were people dressed in smart black suits and people dressed in jeans and T-shirts. It was packed though, you could tell how well loved he was. It was a very somber and sad crowd."
The memorial, which was structured to resemble a twelve step meeting, followed a private burial for Goldstein at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary on Wednesday.
