Action star Hugh Jackman is used to chasing bad mutants as X-Men hero Wolverine, but he had the much more human task Monday of catching his daughter Ava in the bustling streets of New York.
The four-year-old got away from her dad on her pink scooter and the 40-year-old actor had to take off in hot pursuit to catch her.
Wearing a sharp suit and sun glasses the popular Australian star proved that he was up to the task as his wife Deborra-Lee Furness watched-on.

The pair headed to New York’s West Village with their daughter for some ice cream although their 9-year-old son Oscar wasn’t present.

While in New York is also doing some United Nations charity work and just met with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair at a Climate Summit conference.
Jackson is an ambassador to World Vision and spoke about the effect climate change is having on Africa.
