When she talks – people listen. With that in mind, Oprah Winfrey arrived in Copenhagen Denmark Wednesday at midnight to personally lobby on behalf of her adopted city Chicago getting the 2016 Summer Olympics.
The talk show queen sat with some local women on a garden patio and then got mobbed by onlookers, according to a source who spoke exclusively with RadarOnline.com.
Winfrey’s arrival in Copenhagen comes only two days before President Barack Obama arrives in Denmark, also hoping to entice the International Olympic Committee to bring the games to his hometown of Chicago.

Mr. Obama will arrive on Friday, just before the Chicago 2016 presentation. Like Winfrey, First Lady Michelle Obama arrived in Copenhagen on Wednesday, and plans to meet with the IOC on her own. Together, the President and First Lady will speak with Queen Margrethe and Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen in attempt to secure the deal, and will make their own presentations after the Chicago 2016 group does.
