The Beautiful Life Canceled After Only Two Episodes

After only two episodes, the CW has cancelled The Beautiful Life. As of Friday, production on the seventh episode was shut down and there are no plans to air any new installments.
Mischa opens up about her meltdown
The show was produced by Ashton Kutcher and stars Mischa Barton in a plot line similar to the star’s personal life including a mysterious hospital stay and a potential career comeback. Unfortunately, Wednesday’s episode was only watched by one million viewers.

CW may replace the now-empty slot with a repeat of the Melrose Place which airs on Tuesdays- something it did with 90210 last year.
