Katie Holmes Thursday trotted out on the 100th episode of SYTYCD with a long-awaited performance, set to the legendary Judy Garland song, Get Happy.

We'll balk at commenting on her singing (or lack thereof) but the dance itself, choreographed by pal Tyce Diorio, seemed to impress the studio audience. Online bloggers and entertainment reporters seemed split, however, on whether her feedback was tied to her performance, or her high celebrity profile.

"It should have been more like, so you think you can strut around the stage and strike a few poses," wrote New York Daily News reporter Olivia Smith. "When viewed after the often mesmerizing talents of the contestants on the show -- two of whom were sent home last night -- it's hard to qualify Holmes' performance as dancing exactly."

One nice thing we can say, is that the wife of iconic actor Tom Cruise put on her dancing shoes for a good cause: the Dizzy Feet Foundation, which helps underprivileged and talented dancers.

In something positive than can be tied to Holmes' act, the show's ratings finished a stellar second-place overall for the evening, losing to only CBS summer show, The Mentalist.
