Sean Connery, Ph.D. -- Legendary Actor Awarded Doctorate

James Bond goes back to college!
Legendary actor Sean Connery collects an honorary doctorate rom Napier University in his home town of Edinburgh, Scotland on Friday.
Connery, along with his wife Micheline, returned to his native land to attend the International Film Festival there. Sir Sean is a Patron of the Screen Academy Scotland, which is a joint venture between Edinburgh Napier University and Edinburgh College of Art set up in 2005 to educate and train film talent.
Connery said: "I am delighted to receive this honorary degree from Napier University. It is a pleasure to be involved with a university which does so much to help develop the Scottish film industry. I would like to congratulate the university on its work in this area and its ongoing commitment to the Screen Academy. I wish them continued success."
