Brad Pitt & Family Donate $1 Million To Hospital

Brad Pitt and his family donated $1 million to fund pediatric cancer specialists at St. John's hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
St. John's will now rename its center the St. John's Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center in honor of Brad's mom.
Doug Pitt, Brad's brother, announced the donation on Saturday. The donation was made by Doug and Lisa Pitt, and Rob and Julie Neal, according to the Springfield News-Leader.
The pediatric cancer center will open this summer, temporarily located on the fifth floor of the hospital's west pavilion.
The hospital also has plans to add a pediatric unit, a 10-bedroom hospital-based Ronald McDonald house and will double the size of the
neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, the newspaper reported.
