Responding to RadarOnline.com's exclusive story regarding the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance's claims that 24 Hour Fitness is "two faced" and "hypocritical", the gym issued the following statement.
"24 Hour Fitness welcomes people of all shapes and sizes to join our clubs and we do not deny membership to people based on their weight. Over the past 25 years, we have helped millions of members lead healthier, happier lives. We are committed to helping people become more comfortable with their bodies and improve their self-esteem and we welcome the support of any organization that shares this mission."
In regards to RadarOnline.com's revelation that the Biggest Loser contestants train at Barry's Boot Camp and Crunch rather than at 24 Hour Fitness while filming the show, the gym's publicity rep says, "24 hour fitness has a relationship with the show, not the individuals."
