W. As Evenhanded As A George W. Bush BiopIc by Oliver Stone Could Be

When Oliver Stone announced his George W. Bush biopic last January (wow, they sure rushed this thing out), most were looking forward to 90 minutes of pure Dubya bashing. But they'll be disappointed because W. is, at least according to our movie reviewing friends, a surprisingly sympathetic portrayal of our bumbling 43nd president. This is to Stone's credit, even if the sympathy is less "He's not all bad" and more "Gee, this poor doofus is clueless." Either way, though, what Stone has done is produce a more even-handed film than anyone would have predicted, and the movie reviewers like that:
