Anonymous Set to Protest Scientology, Again
Oct. 27 2008, Published 7:07 a.m. ET
Earlier this month, the Scientology-haters over at Anonymous took some time out of their busy schedules to protest Sea Org, the elite rank of the quasi-religion that Tom Cruise is allegedly a part of that requires a billion-year service contract. Next up? A July 12 protest of the Office of Special Affairs, a "highly organised sub-division of the Church of Scientology that has a license to gather intelligence and administer 'justice and punishment' to its perceived foes." (The OSA was behind the prolonged harassment campaign against Paulette Cooper, the journalist who authored The Scandal of Scientology.) They're also throwing some sort of party a week later in D.C. on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, the invite to which is above. Bring your own V For Vendetta mask!
