UPenn Student Stabbed 20 Times, Buried In Grave By Vicious Attacker

New Details have just emerged on the case of deceased UPenn student Blaze Bernstein. As RadarOnline.com has learned, authorities have now revealed that the 19-year-old's body was found buried in a shallow grave at Borrego Park in California. According to a report, police also claimed Bernstein was stabbed more than 20 times by his mysterious attacker.

The UPenn student's former high school friend, Samuel Lincoln Woodward, was arrested and taken into custody on suspicion of homicide. He was arraigned Friday after DNA evidence linked him to Bernstein's death.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the 20-year-old suspect was taken in for questioning in California. At the time of the interview, he was extremely nervous and visibly shaking. He spoke fast and was careful not to leave any fingerprints on furniture inside the room. Woodward had scratches on his hands and dirt under his fingernails – days after Bernstein was found dead in the local park.

On the night of the UPenn student's death, Woodward had reportedly picked him up from his family home in Lake Forest, CA. They drove around before winding up at the park. He was the last person to see Bernstein alive, officials claim.

No weapon was found at the crime scene, and police have yet to uncover the reason behind the murder.

"Revenge is empty. It will never bring back my son," said Blaze Bernstein's mother after learning of her son's tragic killing. "My only hopes are that he will never have the opportunity to hurt anyone else again and that something meaningful can come from the senseless act of Blaze's murder."
