America's got…Tyra Banks!

The supermodel known for her big attitude is making a big TV comeback—she's been named the new host of America's Got Talent, USA Today reported.

AGT veteran judge Howie Mandel made the announcement Sunday night via Twitter. '

"America, strike a pose…Welcome to the fam, @tyrabanks!" Mandel wrote.

Banks takes over after Nick Cannon quit the gig presiding over the NBC reality show featuring singers, dancers, jugglers, fire eaters, and all kinds of other different wacky acts.

Cannon announced his resignation from the show in a Facebook post, writing that he was quitting after he was threatened with termination by the network for making racial jokes about the show on a cable special.

Former America's Next Top Model host Banks will now host, joining judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Mandel, and her fellow supermodel, Heidi Klum, on the summer show which will return for season 12 later this year.

America's Next Top Model was cancelled but then brought back with a new host instead of Banks, leaving her free for a new reality show. Last year, as RadarOnline.com reported, she welcomed a son via surrogate.

But will Banks be the host from hell? The former model is known for her diva ways, as RadarOnline.com has reported on her feud with co-star Chrissy Teigen on the set of their ABC show The Fab Life.

Banks also raised eyebrows for her toughness on America's Next Top Model.

The New York Daily News reported that Banks was a hard boss when she did her talk show, The Tyra Banks Show.

"There had been high turnover of employees for years," a crew member told the publication in 2009, insisting that many people quit after just a few months because it was "pretty difficult to work for Tyra."

Will AGT now get the Tyra treatment?
