Supervision Required! Scott Disick's First Post-Split Outing With Son Mason Was Chaperoned -- Why Kourtney Insisted On It

Just one day after Kourtney Kardashian went to her lawyer's office to start her fight for full custody of her three children with estranged ex Scott Disick, the 36-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star finally allowed her son Mason to go out with his father. But RadarOnline.com has learned there was one catch: According to an insider, Kardashian insisted that their daddy-son date be supervised by a chaperone!
"Scott is not allowed to take the kids out on his own right now without a bodyguard or chaperone and last night was no different," the source claims.
Following Kardashian's bitter split from Disick, 32, the mother to Mason, Penelope, 3, and seven-month old son, Reign, has been focused on protecting her children at all costs. As RadarOnline.com reported, she's planning on going for full custody.
"Scott knows that he has to go through this legal process with her because they share three children and both of them are accepting the situation," says the source.
Kardashian does allow communication between Disick and the kids via phone, but apparently, that was no longer enough for Disick and his son.
"Mason has been asking to 'see his daddy' for weeks now and Kourtney had to let him see his son," the source tells RadarOnline.com. "Scott loves that boy a lot."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Disick recently skipped his only daughter Penelope's birthday party at Disneyland so he could continue partying in Florida.
According to the source, although Penelope is too young to really know what is going on, "Mason knows exactly what is going down. He is old enough and inquisitive enough to know why his father is not there."
