Rosie O'Donnell announced that troubled daughter Chelsea is "ok" after RadarOnline.com exclusively learned of her hospitalization earlier this week.

As reported, the 19-year-old was checked into a Long Island hospital after suffering a drug overdose Tuesday night. Later, she underwent a psychiatric evaluation.

Rosie took to Twitter Wednesday to assure fans that "she is ok," along with a photo of Chelsea as a child.

Sadly, Chelsea's relapse comes as no surprise following her particularly tumultuous year of rebellion. As RadarOnline.com reported, family drama was first thrust into the spotlight last August when Chelsea disappeared from Rosie's Nyack, NY, home for two weeks. She was later found with a man — and drug dealer — she met on Tinder, Steven M. Sheerer.

Sheerer was later charged with endangering the welfare of a child because Chelsea was only 17 at the time of the incident.

Shortly after, Rosie released a statement saying Chelsea ran away, but the adopted teen claimed she was thrown out.

Then last October, Chelsea held nothing back during a interview detailing her troubled relationship with her superstar parent.

"I find her not genuine a lot of the time. When we'd go out, she was a completely different person in public than at home and I had a hard time with that," she said, alleging that she's closer to her former nannies than she is to her adoptive mother.

Rosie later called Chelsea's hard-hitting interview "heartbreaking on every level."
