O'Donnell previously tweeted about Steve Sheerer, the man the 17-year-old was found with in Barnegat, New Jersey -- stating he was "charged w/third-degree possession of heroin with the intent to distribute" and "third-degree possession of heroin" with a link to a three-year-old story about his arrest.

She later wrote, "When someone u love is drowning in the rapids - u throw everything u can into the water - hoping they will grab on - stay afloat. #believe."

O'Donnell, 53, has previously said that Chelsea "is very mentally ill," and was clearly upset about the circumstances in which she was found, judging from the tone of the tweets.

Police, who are investigating of the chain of events, told reporters Wednesday that there was no explosive fight between Rosie and the adopted teen preceding her weeklong disappearance.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, police Tuesday located Chelsea hiding in the attic of at a house with her therapy dog Bear, after Sheerer denied she was there.

More issues for O'Donnell stem out of Chelsea's growing relationship  with her biological mother Deanna Micoley, who told Radar that O'Donnell's fame has worn down Chelsea, who "is tired of living in the spotlight."
