MTV Stars River Ceballos, Jay Gotti & Gus Smyrnios Team Up To Help Give Back

Jay Gotti from Real World: Explosion and Gus Smyrnios from Floribama Shore are teaming up with activist River Ceballos to help make a difference. Gotti and Ceballos are exclusively revealing to RadarOnline.com how they’re giving back!
Gotti asked Ceballos to be a celebrity supporter for his company Craze Watches, which he started to help pay for his late mother’s medical bills.
“She had cancer for 19 years,” he told RadarOnline.com. “While filming my season of Real World: Explosion, my mom passed away on national TV. Now a big portion of the income is donated to charity cancer foundations.”
Gotti then reached out to Smyrnios to help promote the cause.
“He’s really humble, he’s using his platform for good just like River and I do,” Gotti explained of the Floribama Shore fan-favorite. “He didn’t change for the cameras and I respect it. I have new watch designs and I knew I wanted River to continue to be a celebrity supporter and I chose Gus to be one too.”
But giving back doesn’t end there, as Ceballos interviewed Smyrnios for organizations NEDA and PROUD2BME.

“My interview with Gus will be talking about how he was homeless at 17, his body image issues, his rough upbringing, how he didn’t think he’d last while filming because production tried to portray him as a ‘Pauly D’ and he refused,” Ceballos explained. “He wants to use his platform to help others because he too was bullied for his weight when he was younger.”
Smyrnios is also helping promote Ceballos’ campaign with Shawn Mendes, #NotesFromShawn and the spinoff campaign #MirrorMessages, where people post a surprise positive message to boost the self-esteem of others.
Ceballos, who made the cover of Things & Ink in 2015, will also be working with the tattoo magazine again.
“We wanted to up the ante and give the readers something amazing,” he said. “We threw around ideas and Gus came up. They saw that I was interacting with him online, and he has some ink. ‘Things & Ink’ are thinking of doing a collaboration feature!”
