'He's Going To Die!' Maci Bookout Begs Baby Daddy Ryan To Enter Rehab For Drug Issues
Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell took a trip to Puerto Rico on Teen Mom OG – but they couldn't take a vacation from their problems! On this week's episode, Bookout exposes her baby daddy's drug issues, while Portwood and Lowell come clean about their relationship drama.
Before Bookout's explosive confession about Ryan Edwards, she admitted that she suffered from postpartum depression after giving birth to her daughter Jayde.
"For me, postpartum was much easier to deal with when I was able to admit it and understand that it's okay," she said. "I had it with Jayde. I was scared I wouldn't be able to love Jayde like I was able to love Bentley. It makes you feel like a terrible person."
Lowell added how placing her oldest daughter Carly with another family when she was 16 years old contributed to her postpartum with her second daughter Novalee.
"I could've been super selfish and brought her home and not gave a f**k about her future because I just wanted her," Lowell said before storming out of the room.
But the drama with Lowell didn't end there, as she revealed new details about her relationship issues with her husband Tyler Baltierra.
"There is always going to be little bumps in the road," Lowell said. "We've been together for 11 years and no matter what it is, whether it's us moving into a new house and it's f*****g stressful and we get on each other's f*****g nerves and I want to leave and I want to cry because he hurts my feelings and he's being a d**k."
Portwood wasn't free from drama either, as she admitted to wanting to see a therapist for her trust issues with fiancé Matt Baier.
Earlier this season, Portwood had second thoughts about marrying Baier because of his involvement with various cheating and deadbeat dad scandals.
Portwood called off her wedding in May when sources claimed to RadarOnline.com that he failed a lie detector test about cheating on his fiancée.
Bookout then dropped the shocking bombshell about her ex Edwards.
On last week's episode, Bookout learned "serious information" about her baby daddy. Although she wouldn't reveal what the issue was at the time, the women hinted at drugs.
Portwood, who struggled with substance abuse issues in the past, said, "I watch it. I see it. I know it. Where he's at right now when I see him, I know where he's at."
When Lowell asked if he is interested in going to a treatment center, Bookout said, "He would do it. It's everyone else around him that's afraid to admit it. He's got me. Everyone else around him is too afraid of what it will look like more than his health. It's all denial. The hardest thing is to see Ryan not love himself. He's a person who deserves to love himself."
Portwood then said, "You are so in love with the drugs that you feel that when you wake up in the morning without them you want to die. He needs to find where his bottom may be."
Bookout admitted that she will urge him to enter rehab.
"I'm going to be like, you have to go to rehab," she told her husband Taylor McKinney. "Right now it's about saving his life. Most nights I'm crying in our bed talking to you about whether or not today is the day he's going to die."
Edwards was accused of being high last season when he slurred his words and seemed out of it on an episode. Edwards denied the drug rumors at the time.
Also on the episode, Farrah Abraham explained how her ex-boyfriend Simon Saran is having trouble moving on from their split, while she is looking forward to dating new people.
She was left out of the cast trip, as Bookout said of the snub, "The only important people on the show are coming!"
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Abraham is currently feuding with her co-stars. She famously got into a physical altercation with Portwood at the Teen Mom OG reunion special last season when she said Baier looks like a pedophile.
