Just a few weeks after the birth of her daughter Saylor James, Kristin Cavallari is coping with the sudden loss of her older brother Michael.

"My heart is in a million pieces. Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh. You had such a good heart and will be forever missed," she captioned a new Instagram photo of the reality star, 28, and her big brother as young children. "I'm at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP."

Fans immediately began offering their support.

"So sorry for your loss," said one.

"My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time," posted another. "I understand the pain and desperation you are feeling. I lost my brother 2 1/2 years ago."

Michael Cavallari's remains were discovered this morning near a rocky area in Grand County, Utah, 13 days after he was last spotted on a local gas station's surveillance video.
