Tension between Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner's sons Brody and Brandon has likely grown, after the Momager pulled a sly power play on her ex-husband's children.

Insiders told the NY Daily News that Kris "didn't want them on the" upcoming two-part E! special Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce.

While both of Bruce's supportive grown sons had wanted, and received, dates to film for the highly-anticipated TV special, Kris worked her magic behind the scenes -- and made them disappear from it.

"Days were blocked out for Brody and Brandon to film," a source said, "and she pulled the plug."

The casting decision was "a huge deal" for Kris, who "runs the show," and wanted the attention focused on "her family, and not the other kids." (The special will feature all of Kris's kids except wayward Rob Kardashian, who isn't in the special.)

The brash move could be a result of either Kris's anger after she felt muscled out of his ABC interview with Diane Sawyer; or the latest in a chain of hostile exchanges between her and Bruce's first kids, as she clashed with Brody on Keeping up with the Kardashians two years ago, before he left the show.
