Kim Zolciak has gone to great lengths to maintain her beauty. But, according to doctors, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star's obsession with going under the knife may have nearly killed her!

As Radar reported, Zolciak suffered a mini-stroke last week after returning to her home in Atlanta following a week of taping Dancing With The Stars.

However, are the physically challenging rehearsals for DWTS to blame for her scare, or was it her love for plastic surgery?

Zolciak has openly admitted to a boob job and tummy tuck, and Beverly Hills plastic surgeon to the stars, Dr. Susan Evans tells Radar, "Sometimes one surgery alone can cause a stroke. The more surgeries, the higher likelihood."

"If the proper prevention for stroke didn't take place and she doesn't have an underlying condition such as taking birth control pills, all of those factors could make it more likely for her to stroke," says Dr. Evans, who has not treated the reality star.

"Some anesthesiologists tend to take less precautions for plastic surgery patients because they are generally healthy people that just want a face lift or liposuction."

Dr. Sheila Nazarian, who is also one of the top plastic surgeons in the nation, agrees with her colleague and says that "plastic surgery could have definitely caused her to stroke."

"You can have a stroke during the surgery, or right after because not moving could cause blood clots in the legs. You would also need a hole in between the chambers of the heart for this to happen though," Dr. Nazarian, who has also not treated Zolciak, says.

While Zolciak's new face has raised eyebrows in recent weeks, she insists it's just a new makeup routine that's behind her massive makeover.
