Desperate Measure: Kim Richards Checks Into New Rehab Hours Before Court Hearing In Public Intoxication Case

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards has entered a new rehab yet again, nearly three weeks after relapsing at daughter Brooke Brinson's Mexican wedding. After going off the rails for weeks, she finally made the decision to get intensive help just hours before the latest hearing in her public intoxication case.

"Kim entered inpatient treatment late Wedesnday night," a well-connected source tells RadarOnline.com. "It's a program that last up to two years!" Thursday morning at 8:30 am, there was a hearing in her ongoing court case. She did not attend.

Richards is facing charges of battery, resisting arrest and public intoxication stemming from her April 16 arrest at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge, where she allegedly kicked a police officer.

After a TV intervention, Richards entered rehab for the first time at the end of April, where she was reportedly doing well. However, after being allowed out on a pass to attend Brinson's wedding in Mexico, the reality star failed to report back to treatment and, instead, entered another facility in Pacific Palisades on June 2 that specializes in the treatment of mental disorders. Her new Malibu treatment center, which RadarOnline.com has decided not to name, specializes in intensive addiction treatment.

Now it seems that Richards is doing everything she can to salvage her relationship with the authorities, and her bosses at NBC Universal, which is the parent company of the network that airs RHOBH, Bravo.

"Her bosses were aware she was entering a long-term treatment program that allows her to work because she desperately wants to save the relationship with the network now," the source tells RadarOnline.com.
