Kim In Danger? Kardashian Considers 'Life Or Death' Third Pregnancy
Kim Kardashian is so desperate for a third child, she could risk her life with a dangerous pregnancy.
On last night's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the mother of two, 36, met with two different doctors to determine her chances of delivering a healthy third baby — and she didn't like what she heard.
"I think the potential fear of the situation is legitimate," OB/GYN Dr. Paul Crane told a shocked Kim and mom Kris Jenner in his office. "You're always taking a little bit of a chance."
"There are situations that could be life or death."
"You could bleed to death," chimed in Kris.
As Kardashian fans know, Kim experienced two very difficult pregnancies with daughter North, 3, and Saint, nearly 1. Both times, she suffered placenta acctreta, which causes a high risk of heavy bleeding during birth.
Kim sought a second opinion from her fertility specialist, Dr. Andy Huang, who didn't have better news for the momtrepreneur.
"You getting pregnant again would be a high-risk pregnancy," he warned, suggesting surrogacy as a safer option.
On the drive home from her appointment, Kim expressed her confusion to big sister Kourtney, 37, a mother of three kids herself.
"I want to have my own baby, but I truly don't know if my body can handle it one more time," she said. "There's just a lot of fears I have, and a lot of unanswered questions."
To gain more insight into the process, Kim and Kourtney met with Natalie Gerber, a woman who gave birth to a child before depending on a surrogacy to deliver her twins.
"My biggest fear is, would I love them the same. That's the main thing I keep thinking about that scares me," Kim confessed to the kind stranger.
"There's not a day where I have any thought that my love for my kids is different," Natalie assured her.
After feeling "reassured" during the meeting, Kim told mom Kris that she had decided to "explore" surrogacy.
Meanwhile, Kris interviewed her own mother, M.J., for a "legacy" video about her long life.
M.J. revealed that she had been married for just two months to her childhood sweetheart.
"Less than Kimmy!" the grandmother joked of her thrice-married granddaughter, who was infamously wed to NBA player Kris Humphries for 72 days.
But Kris broke down sobbing when she was forced to consider her mother's mortality.
In other plot lines, Kendall made the decision to use her "platform" to fight for gun control.
Of course, just months later, the model's big sister Kim was held at gunpoint during a Paris robbery that left her broken and traumatized.
