"Loud arguing" brought the cops out to Joe Giudice's New Jersey beach home over the weekend in a spat involving relatives, according to online reports.

Stafford Township, New Jersey patrol officer Christopher Fritz told People adding that authorities responded to the scene looking to "keep and restore the peace.

"Once everyone was calmed down, we cleared … there was no cause for arrest."

"It was a call made over loud arguing," Fritz said.

While online reports claimed that the felon father-of-four had scolded daughter Gia, 14, for making a ruckus when she was locked out of the family home, sources told the magazine that Gia "wasn't even there" and that the beach home was unlocked anyway.

Sources told the magazine that the fight stemmed after the 44-year-old reality star's brother Pete's wife "got upset that he and his brother went out on Joe's boat and got back late.

"She got really mad at Joe and Pete," at which point "Joe told her to leave."

The family looks to be barely holding together at the seams as 43-year-old Teresa continues to serve her prison sentence in connection with the couple's fraud conviction last fall.

While she's been in custody at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn., Joe's been implicated in a number of cheating scandals.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey's biggest star is due to get out in December, at which point Joe will begin serving a three-year, five-month sentence.
