Jim Carrey isn't letting his late ex-girlfriend's family take him down without a fight!

After Cathriona White's mother and estranged husband filed wrongful death lawsuits against the actor, the White family's attorney claims Carrey has hired two private detectives to "dig up dirt on the family in an effort to try and intimidate them into dropping their cases."

"How dare Carrey and his Hollywood lawyers try and malign the family and intimidate them," Michael Avenatti said in a statement to The Wrap. "Sending private investigators out to dig up dirt on a grieving mother is disgusting. These people have no bounds."

The private investigators allegedly went as far as to interview White's friends in an effort to have them speak poorly of her family.

Earlier this week, White's mother Brigid Sweetman filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the actor claiming she overdosed after she learned Carrey had given her three sexually transmitted diseases.

"Carry's abuse included, but was not limited to, Carrey giving Ms. White three STDs without warning her (two types of Herpes and Chlamydia) lying to her about it, 'dumping' her out of concern for saving his own carefully crafted public image," the lawsuit obtained by RadarOnline.com read.

According to the court papers, Carrey suggested she "had contracted the diseases from someone else" even though she had been tested before their sexual relationship began.

He ended their relationship by texting her, "You have become too much drama."

In September, White's estranged husband Mark Burton filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Carrey.

"This is a case about Defendant Jim Carrey using his immense wealth and celebrity status to illegally obtain and distribute highly addictive, and, in this case deadly controlled substances," the court papers read. "He obtained these drugs illegally and under a bogus name ('Arthur King') and then gave the drugs to White."

The lawsuit continued, "The result that followed was predictable and foreseeable. Ms. White overdosed on the drugs on or about September 24, 2015 and died."
