Even though nothing has happened for nearly two years in Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's tax fraud case, the Jersey Shore alum still has a serious legal situation on his hands.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Sorrentino and his manager brother, Marc, were indicted in September 2014 for allegedly failing to pay taxes on a shocking $8.9 million in income.
But the case has been at a standstill, with the court filing near constant orders for continuance as requested by the District Attorney since October 2014.

According to Sorrentino's new counsel, Newark, New Jersey attorney Henry E. Klingeman, the delays have been due to the judge's busy schedule.
"The court has other business," Klingeman tells RadarOnline.com, adding that the judge on Sorrentino's case has been presiding over the "Bridgegate" trials for New Jersey governor Chris Christie's aides. "So nothing is happening. I'm not sure when something is going to happen."
They are still planning to go to trial, the lawyer adds.
Meanwhile, the Worst Cooks in America star, 35, is coping with other legal drama.
As RadarOnline.com reported in October 2015, Sorrentino was slapped with a $67,000 judgment in a former attorney's lawsuit against him for failing to pay his bills.
