He pleaded not guilty, and a preliminary hearing was set. He was allowed to leave the county, but had to surrender his green card and passport.

But he refused to appear at his next court date, and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.

He was sentenced on July 31, 2008 to either serve two days in jail or pay a fine of $60. He was also responsible for paying $120 in court fees, and was placed on probation for a year.

Harris has gone on to star on Bravo's Million Dollar Listing alongside his business partner, David Parnes. The Hollywood Reporter listed the duo on their Top 25 Real Estate Agents list in 2015 for closing over $200 million in sales.

They failed to make the list in 2016, but their former boss at The Agency, Mauricio Umansky, placed on the list.
