After RadarOnline.com broke the exclusive news that Hulk Hogan had been recorded unleashing a racist n-word littered tirade against African Americans, the backlash was swift. Now, the disgraced wrestling star has taken to Twitter to thank those who stood by him despite his hate-filled words.

In addition to replying individually to dozens of fans that tweeted their support, Hulk tweeted, “Thank you to all my friends, family and business partners for all your love and support, you guys know who I really am and I love u 4 that. HH.”

However, not everyone has been willing to forgive and forget. Since the story broke social media has erupted with disgust over the tirade, with one fan responding to Hulk's tweet, "@HulkHogan cuz they racist just like you lol." Additionally, Hulk's ex-wife Linda, the mother of their daughter Brooke, has made clear that she does not condone her former husband's beliefs.

As RadarOnline.com has reported, the fallout of Hogan's racist rant has been costly. He has been fired from the WWE, and the Florida restaurant that was named for him is now distancing itself from the embattled star, despite having been blasted in the past for having a racist dress code.
