Torn Apart! Osmond Family Barely Speaking

The Osmonds were America’s first family of music when they ruled the pop charts in the ’60s and ’70s — but now they barely speak!
That’s the shocking claim of 54-year-old Jimmy, the beloved “baby” of the family who was introduced by Donny and Marie before the siblings split up.
“We used to be in each other’s lives so much, but now everybody’s got their own families, we don’t get together anymore like we used to.” Jimmy revealed.
For years, the Osmonds — Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, Donny, Marie and Jimmy — were riding high with TV appearances, and hits like “One Bad Apple.”

Donny, 60, emerged as a teen heartthrob with the songs “Go Away Little Girl” and “Puppy Love” — while Marie, 58, stormed the charts with “Paper Roses.”
But their brothers’ success tailed off in the ’80s, and personal tragedies like the suicide of Marie’s son Michael at just 18, along with prolonged health struggles of Alan, 68, and Wayne, 66, drove the family apart.
“We’re a normal family,” Jimmy admitted. “We do have issues.”
Jimmy still tours, and also makes TV appearances, occasionally with his brothers.
But insiders say the Osmonds aren’t nearly as close as they used to be.
“Back then they were a family,” dished an insider. “Now everything’s strictly business.”
