Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are living proof that it is never too late to hear the pitter patter of little feet. After eight years of marriage, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that de Rossi, 43, just dropped a HUGE baby bombshell on her talk show host wife: According to an insider, she doesn't want kids ... but she wants more dogs!
In DeGeneres's 2011 book, "Seriously… I'm Kidding," she wrote, "People are constantly asking Portia and me if we are going to have children, We thought about it. We love to be around children after they've been fed and bathed. But we ultimately decided that we don't want children of our own. There is far too much glass in our house."
And de Rossi is on board. According to a source close to the couple, "Ellen and Portia have three little ones already — their dogs, Kid, Augie and Wolf. They don't want to have actual children and Portia told Ellen that, even if she did, they are too old at this point anyways."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported — although the dazzling duo's marriage has been plagued by incessant rumors that the two were headed for splitsville — the insider told RadarOnline.com that is all behind them now.
