RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Drew Barrymore has been crying on the shoulder of her ex, musican Fabrizio Moretti, now that she's announced her divorce from Will Kopelman.

"Her feelings for Fabrizio never really went away, and while she and Will tried their best, she privately admits the spark wasn't there like it was with Fabrizio," an insider told Radar.

It seems Barrymore, 41, and 35-year-old Moretti, who broke up in 2007 after five years of dating, have picked up right where they left off.

"They talk on the phone a lot and have had several long lunches together recently," revealed the insider.

Despite reconnecting, a rekindled romance may not be in the works — at least not yet.

"The timing is a bit tricky right now, because she and Will have to figure out their exit strategy and of course custody and money arrangements," said the insider of parents Kopelman and Barrymore.

Still, added the insider, "Friends are already taking bets that she and Fabrizio will officially wind up together again by summer."
