Drew Barrymore tells RadarOnline.com it's "crazy" for new mom actresses to try meet "ridiculous" show biz pressures to shed the pounds as quickly as possible.
The Blended beauty, who gave birth to her second daughter Frankie with hubby Will Kopelman just more than a year ago, said the race to lose weight for new Hollywood moms strikes her as unnatural.
"It takes nine months to build, and it is going to take at least nine months to un-build," she said, adding that women "have to take the pressures off, because those pressures are just silly and ridiculous.
"I think it is just crazy to worry about that ... but it's fine," she said. "I am so OK with that."
After marrying art director Kopelman in June 2012, the 40-year-old actress and her new beau wasted no time in having their first child, Olive, in September 2012, followed by Frankie in April 2014.
"It took a year for me to snap back and I am not even there yet," Barrymore told RadarOnline.com at Nationwide and Safe Kids Worldwide's Safe Kids Day, an event aimed at families to raise awareness and funds to prevent childhood injuries.

Barrymore's comments are similar to those made by Kelly Clarkson, after the singer made clear she wasn't rushing to the gym after giving birth to her daughter River Rose Blackstock last summer.
"I've never been Gisele Bündchen," Clarkson said, "so ain't nobody expectin' that!"
