In a shocking new lawsuit, Casey Kasem’s widow says she and her daughter were given only moments to say goodbye to her husband on his deathbed. And she claims the late radio host’s own children were the ones that shut her out!

“Plaintiff Jean Kasem and daughter Liberty were only permitted approximately 5 minutes to see Casey Kasem, Plaintiff’s husband of 35 years and Liberty’s father, before they were quickly escorted out of Casey Kasem’s room and out of the hospital chapel,” she stated in court documents.

“Plaintiff Jean Kasem and Liberty never saw Casey Kasem alive again.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Jean has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Julie, Kerri and Mike Kasem, alleging that the siblings fraudulently gained power of attorney over their dementia-suffering father in 2007 and then withheld proper medical care. He died in 2014 at 82.

During their years-long family feud, Casey’s kids accused Jean of elder abuse for allegedly forcing their dad to move out of a California hospital and into a Washington private home.
