Songbird Carrie Underwood has issued a tough ultimatum to her two-fisted, hockey hunk hubby Mike Fisher, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that an insider claims she'll have another baby ONLY if he quits and becomes a stay-at-home dad!

And the 33-year-old blonde's stance may not sit well with macho Fisher, 36, captain of the NHL's Nashville Predators, who planned to have a pack of young'uns with the "Blown Away" singer.

"Carrie and Mike have been at each other's throats for ages over when to bring another little one into their family. Mike is at his wit's end," said a source.

"When he and Carrie married, they both agreed on four kids! But neither is getting any younger … Carrie seems more interested in touring and recording."

After giving birth to Isaiah in February 2015, Underwood quickly whipped her body back into picture-perfect shape.

She plunged into her Storyteller tour in January, but now that her gigs are wrapping up on Nov. 28, "Mike has been pressing to start trying for the baby … but Carrie keeps making excuses," the source told RadarOnline.com.

Fed up with her career focus, her husband finally demanded the American Idol winner agree to set up a pregnancy time line, says the insider.

"Carrie did not appreciate being pushed into a corner, but she finally agreed to baby number two — under the condition that Mike retire and be a stay-at-home dad," the insider claimed.

Before Isaiah was born, insiders said Fisher, who had been begging for a baby ever since their July 2010 wedding, had threatened to call it quits on the marriage.

So sources said Underwood, dogged by rumors she was having an affair with country singer Brad Paisley, relented and had their son.

Now Fisher, whose contract ends in 2017, is faced with giving up his career and becoming a full-time house dad.

"Carrie rules the roost, so she's likely to win this battle," said the source. "Poor Mike had no idea when he and Carrie married that she might turn him into a house husband!"
