In the promotional video for Caitlyn Jenner's Vanity Fair shoot, the 65-year-old newest family matriarch reveals her name and identity and says, "Caitlyn doesn't have any secrets." However, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that is not entirely true, as a source close to the Keeping up with the Kardashians clan says that "most of the family saw Caitlyn for the first time on the cover of Vanity Fair!"
"That is the way that she wanted it to be," says the source. "In doing so, it gives them all a little more time for it to sink in."
"Caitlyn feels that the family will not be so surprised when they see her in person now," the source explains.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, although Jenner has finalized her transition by having multiple procedures to feminize her appearance, as well as breast augmentation and a sex change operation, several members of the Kardashian family had not yet seen her post-operation results before the magazine was released.
And it still might be a while before some of them do.
"Scott still intends of keeping the kids away from her until they are all able to fully wrap their mind around this," the source tells RadarOnline.com, referring to the three-time baby daddy of Kourtney Kardashian's kids Mason, 5, Penelope, 2 and newborn son, Reign.
Disick himself was spotted driving over to Jenner's Malibu home on Monday.
