An emotional Bobby Brown Monday paid tribute to his late daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, admitting, "I am completely numb at this time."
The "Every Little Step" singer, 46, said in a statement to RadarOnline.com that his 22-year-old daughter "was and is an angel," and that his grieving "family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory.
"Our loss is unimaginable."
The "My Prerogative" singer was spotted in the Atlanta area Sunday looking downbeat and teary. In response to an outpour of affection from the public both in person and online, Brown said, "We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl."
The "On Our Own" singer said that his daughter with Whitney Houston "took her place in heaven" after she "fought to get well for months," after she was found face-down in a bathtub Jan. 31.
The "Don't Be Cruel" singer had been a steady presence for his daughter in her darkest days, spearheading the fight to keep her alive as long as possible.
During an emotional concert in Dallas three months ago, the former New Edition talent said that Bobbi Kristina was "awake" and "watching me." (The shocking comment drew a harsh response from the Houston family, as insiders told RadarOnline.com that the remarks were made "just for headlines.")
