Billy Bush has not been fired from the TODAY show, but RadarOnline.com has learned that amid rumors the axe is about to fall, he's already looking for his next job!

According to an insider, Bush met with NBC executives over the weekend in L.A. to "beg" for his old job back at Access Hollywood!

"They basically told him, there is no chance of him working anywhere at NBC again." the insider told RadarOnline.com.

Bush — who is said to be "devastated" by his career collapse — has been "frantically searching for another on-air gig back in L.A.," the source said, adding that his management is "confident that he will lock something in soon."

"Billy is not going to give up on hosting, but he knows that his time with NBC has pretty much come to an end, and unless there is a miracle, there is nothing he can do about it," said the insider.

Bush's nightmare has escalated ever since a tape was leaked last Friday that featured the TV host having a lewd conversation with Donald Trump. Although his employers at NBC initially said his job at TODAY was safe, he was suspended on Monday and is reportedly close to getting served his walking papers, despite his apology last week.
