Heard claims that she and Depp separated officially on May 22, 2016. They were last photographed together back in mid-April, and he was MIA when she walked the red carpet at the Met Gala earlier this month.

She cites "irreconcilable differences," and asks the court to have Depp pay her spousal support. She also wants to be let off the hook for paying him any kind of support. She also wants her ex to pay her attorneys fees!

As for splitting up their property, the documents state that "assets and debts are unknown at this time," but will be settled at a later date.

In February, Depp hinted at trouble in the relationship while accepting the Desert Palm Achievement Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

"I also have to thank my wife Amber for putting up with me, for living with all these characters, which can't be easy," he said. "It's hard for me; it's got to be hard for her."

As RadarOnline.com reported, Heard's own family had no idea she was planning for the split. When reached by RadarOnline.com, her father David Heard said, "I have no idea about that!"
