Lindsay Lohan is in a London hospital battling an untreatable mosquito-borne virus called Chikungunya. But as the actress recovers, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that her mother, Dina Lohan has made it clear that she is “taking no chances and wants Lindsay home.”

“Dina wants her to come home to New York when she is released,” a close friend of the Lohan family tells Radar. “She is extremely worried for Lindsay and has suggested that she come back to live with her until her symptoms get better.”

The 28-year-old Mean Girls actress revealed on her social media in Dec. that she had contracted the sometimes-deadly ailment while vacationing in French Polynesia and, according to reports, she checked into King Edward VII’s Hospital on Tuesday with a high fever and joint pain.

“Lindsay is convinced that she can beat this, but has not been doing so well these past couple of weeks,” the family friend tells Radar.

“She doesn’t understand why this is happening to her and feels that the timing ‘just sucks’ because she was finally ‘getting her s**t together.’”

“Lindsay is strong, but when it comes to something like this, she is also really scared right now,” the source adds.
