Troubled Leah Messer Passed Drug Test In Child Custody Case

Finally, some good news for Leah Messer.
Before the Teen Mom 2 star, 22, settled her custody battle with ex Corey Simms over their 5-year-old twin daughters Ali and Aleeah, she passed a hair follicle drug test, In Touch reports.
“She was a nervous wreck,” a family insider tells the magazine. “When the results came back, she was ecstatic.”
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, the mother-of-three and her former husband agreed to abide by a shared parenting plan after a December court date. Simms, 25, and his wife Miranda were previously pushing for full custody, claiming it was in the best interest of the twins.

They certainly had reasons to be concerned. In 2014, friends feared that Messer was abusing painkillers and alcohol, sources tell RadarOnline.com. And At the end of the year, her marriage to Jeremy Calvert, 26, was rocked by cheating allegations.
But now, she’s back with Calvert and allegedly clean from illegal drugs.
“She’s telling everyone she’s determined to make a complete turnaround,” says the insider. “She’s ready to clean up the wreckage from her past.”
