Kristen Stewart’s Childhood Friends Are ‘Dropping Like Flies’ - She’s A ‘Totally Different Person Now’

Kristen Stewart recently announced that she is “taking time off” from acting, and a close friend of the actress tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that The Runaways star, who was raised in Los Angeles by parents in the entertainment industry, is a totally different person than the girl they grew up with.

“Kristen doesn’t even resemble the person that we knew from before she was with Rob,” a childhood friend of the Stewart says, referring to her boyfriend of more than three years and Twilight co-star, Robert Pattinson.

“She used to be a very low-key, cool girl,” the source says.

“But her inflated ego has convinced her that even her childhood friends only want to hang out with her because of ‘who she is,’” which, according to the friend is much different than “who she was.”

“It’s really sad, and her friends are literally dropping like flies.”

Stewart’s relationship with Pattinson, 28, ended a few months after the actress was caught cheating with her Snow White and the Huntsmen director, Rupert Sanders, 43, who was married to actress Liberty Ross at the time.
